All the Mutton Busters who can make it in to the Texas County Family YMCA at 1602 N. Oklahoma for weigh in, must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate. The child will be weighed in at the YMCA between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, April 25 – 28. Please indicate which date and performance you would like your child to ride in. This is a first-come, first-serve enrollment limited event. Only 15 riders will be allowed each performance.
Performance times of the 2017 Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo:
- Friday, May 5 – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 6 – 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 6 – 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 7 – 2:00 p.m.
Mutton Bustin’ will be held before each of the four PRCA Rodeo performances. The child and one parent/guardian/adult are allowed to be in the prep and performance areas. The child must be present at least one (1) hour before performance time to put on the protective gear. The adult must have been allowed entry with the purchase of a rodeo performance ticket and the child with either a rodeo performance ticket or two cans of food. Children 10 and younger are admitted with 2 cans of food or $5. Children 11 – 15 years of age are $5 in advance or $10 at the gate, 16 and older are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. Saturday Matinee Performance is FAMILY DAY! Advance ticket prices (FREE with 2 cans of food for 10 and under, $5 for kids 11 – 15 years and $15 for 16 and up) will be honored at the gate!
Saturday Matinee Performance (2:00 pm) is FAMILY DAY! Kids 10 and under who are present during this performance will be entered in a FREE DRAWING for bikes! Kids must be present at the time of the drawing.
Mutton Busters out of the Guymon area, the release form can be faxed into the Texas County Family YMCA on Monday, April 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Fax must include a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a doctor’s verification (on a prescription pad paper) weight of the child. Fax in the form, birth certificate and the doctor’s note to: 580.338.5643.
