The mission of the Guymon Chamber of Commerce is “To develop, promote, and support business, leadership, economy, and quality of life in Guymon”. We strive to achieve this by being a central force in the Guymon community and a place where local businesses can access resources and interact with other members of the business community. Small to medium size businesses make up a majority of the total Chamber membership, and we are continually striving to achieve a high value of membership for our small business owners.

Panhandle Day at the Capital
Annually, a bus is chartered to take local leaders to Oklahoma City during the Legislative Session to tour and learn more about the State Capital. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with legislative bodies and learn more about issues affecting you business.
Eggs and Issues
During the legislative session in Oklahoma, these monthly breakfasts are sponsored by local businesses to bring together your area legislator and senator with local leaders and businesses. Each breakfast brings with it new updates on bills entering both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Grand Opening Service
If you are a new business, have plans to expand, remodel or relocate your existing business, or are celebrating an anniversary or special promotion, the Chamber can help your promotion efforts. Members of our Ambassadors committee, staff members and other volunteers will show up at your event and provide a “ribbon cutting” service, take some photos and we’ll put a write up in the following issue of the newsletter.
Members are welcome to display their materials in the Chamber office lobby or at events at no charge.

Belonging to the Chamber shows clients and colleagues that you are committed to your business and your community. To show affiliation, members receive an attractive window decal to display.
The Chamber receives numerous inquiries each day regarding local goods and services. Business referrals are reserved solely for members.
Packets and information sheets containing specifics on Guymon for people and businesses looking to relocate to the area are available from the Chamber. Specific items include an economic and community profile, and compiled information on schools, housing, major employers, etc.
