Fronk Oil

Fronk Oil has been a family owned business since 1947.  They became part of the Guymon community in July of 2012 when Si Perkins, owner of Perkins Petroleum, was ready for retirement. Keith has known Si basically all of his life and has always respected him as a business owner.  Keith lost his dad, Vernon, when he was 22 and Si was a great source of advice for him through the years.  When Si decided to retire, he reached out to Keith and Fronk Oil joined the Guymon community.

Fronk Oil operates stores in Hugoton, Fritch, Booker, and Guymon.  They can deliver propane, gas, diesel, oil, and other lubricants directly to their customers. Fronk is able to fill propane bottles for your grill or set a propane or diesel tank on your property.  They provide retail fuel sales-gas, diesel, and dyed diesel at the Guymon store, located at 431 US-54. The Guymon location has four employees and dispatcher Kelly Hill says, “We are a small group, but we all get along and work well together.”

When asked how the construction along the Highway 54 Corridor has affected sales, Kelly said that it has reduced their retail sales considerably.  “Our customers, especially semi-trucks, have a hard time getting to us.  It will probably be even worse when they start on this side of the road.”

Fronk Oil enjoys being part of a community where everyone knows everyone.  “It is one big community and everyone helps out.”  This mindset is part of the motivation for the willingness of Fronk Oil to contribute to community projects, not just in Guymon, but in the surrounding communities as well.  “We want to support our communities and our customers.”  Fronk Oil even has “School Spirit” pumps in many of their communities.  Keep an eye out for one near you!
